You have no right or intellectual authority to place me in anything because you don't know me. I never said I was a homophobe I just said that it was not the same as bigotry. I stand by that statement. I have not advocated anything that Hardaway said. I did not agree with his statements. I just took exception to biggin's comments related to people of rural origin. That was more intolerant than anything I have said. I made response regarding San Fran in gest. I have been to many parts of a the world and don't have a problem with all sorts of lifestyles. If I believe homosexuality is wrong then I believe it is wrong. Doesn't mean I hate people who practices it...just means I disagree with the lifestyle same as I disagree with any immoral lifestyle. An overly tolerant society will eventually lead to a society which does not advocate right over wrong and moral over immoral. Just my two cents. Carry on.

I think if you "flipped the script" you would probably get a better understanding from where I'm coming from. I am a married, heterosexual man. Is there more to the relationship with my wife than sex? Absolutely. So, I think that there is more to the orientation than the obvious sex act. Culturally, homosexuals have their own lifestyle. I think if you surfed the internet, you could find gay everything. You could also find black, hispanic, asian, etc. stuff. As I think I said in my earlier post, I could care less what this guy does. I just find it hard to believe that a black man, who probably would tell you that you shouldn't judge someone by their skin color, would show such a prejudicial attitude. We could change the people and words and it would still be wrong.

No one will ever convince me that being a homosexual is genetic..lol...heard that argument before. One day when they find mutated genes or somethin (which will probably be a concoction anyways) it may have some credibility. Psychiarty, as a whole is still in its infancy when it comes to understanding the human brain. I never once said i hated homosexuals...but I don't want em around me. Not out of hate but out of decency.

Im sorry, but are heterosexuals born with the reproductive organs of the opposite sex on them??? I must have missed that one.

Being homosexual is genetic, just like one's sex, just like one's skin color.

Now, is it NATURAL??? Well, i think its had to say it is...if your into religion, then no. If youre a darwinist, then obviously no, b/c homosexuality does not propogate itself genetically. This leads me to conclude that it either is...A) a genetic mutation, a random happenchance change during genetic repoductive stage of the human, of B) a highly recessive gene, like albino-ness, or to a lesser extent, blue eyes.

Its not a choice.

Gays have DNA..if their genes were mutated we'd know it by now. We know about all of the other genes.

Ah yes. we have a conspiracy theorist on our hands. A vast Homosexual conspiracy will arise in the medical community and fabricate a gene, in an effort to prove to anti-homosexuals everywhere that its not a choice, in the hope this will allow them to not be anti-homosexual any longer

I notice that every one advocating gays is avoiding the comparison to nudists or pedophiles. Both are valid arguments....Enlighten us Rednecks and show us the better way!

God makes all people equal, so homosexuality is a choice, not given to somebody. It is written plain and simple in the Bible. It's not God's plan to create homosexuals.
